It is amazing how warped Freetards minds are when it comes to imagining GPL "legal" victories.

It's not precisely a legal victory. It's merely putting a stop to a
copyright infringement.

Anyone who is neither blind nor an idiot understands that "...
the Nintendo Wii SDK explicitly prohibits the use of open source
software ..." means exactly what it says. GPL, BSD, Apache,
Artistic license or any other open source code is explicitly
prohibited. The only power of the GPL is its ever present stench
of bullshit.

No. GPLed code was incorporated into a program which was then distributed without honoring the license. Since the distributors are bound by another agreement not to honor the GPL, as a result they may not distribute the program at all, and that is precisely what they acknowledge and agree to do. That is the power of the GPL - software covered by it cannot be incorporated into non-free software.

This case is another example of the GPL working as intended.

It's not precisely a legal victory.
Truly spoken... it's just like seven other GPL cases I can think of.

Sincerely,
Rjack
