Advocates of free software don't prefer the situation of several
non-free software enterprises splitting the market over a single
one dominating it. If anything, having only one makes it easier to
create free replacements.
Yeah. As long as Micro$oft keeps Linux boxed in its little pig
pen, we're all winners!!!! Higher prices, lower quality.
Advocates of free software want software to be free. If you feel
disadvantaged by the non-free software that you use, free software
advocates would regard that as a bonus, as that might encourage you
to try and support free alternatives. Why would advocates of free
software want to take actions which would enhance the quality of
non-free software?
If you believe that Microsoft is pleased that GNU/Linux exists
because it helps them maintain a monopoly in non-free software,
The #1 overwhelming of obsession of Freetards is Micro$oft's
monopoly. I realize that your attempting to save face Hyman but
you haqave a long way to go.
and that this in turn displeases you, then you should believe not
that they are laughing at free software advocates, but that they
are laughing at you.
They're not laughing at me. I use FreeBSD and the BSD license.
Micro$oft is scared to death of the BSD license. Micro$oft is afraid
there are several Apples and Steve Jobs out there just waiting to bite
'em in the bottom line.
