Debian is the largest free software project in the world, and it
makes the best GNU/Linux distribution. For over ten years Debian
has had apt-get, which is the package management system for the
apt store, which is larger and better than Apple's app store.
Debian's apt store differs from the Apple Computer Company's
feeble fraud: Debian doesn't require you hand over ownership of
your device to use the apt store.

I hope you can get to Debian Day.

Below find two notices, mostly the same, the second being the
Official Press Release.

Software community. Eben Moglen, Chairman of the Software Freedom Law
Center and Professor of Law at Columbia University will be our plenary
speaker on August 3, at 10:00 AM [1].
