"Sounds like AutoDesk is practicing Capitalism by asserting their
ownership rights. "

To suggest that *Autodesk* remained an owner of copies previously sold
to an architectural firm is beyond utterly imbecile, it is a psychiatric
condition and you better go to doctor ASAP.

A court headquotered in California simply overruled California Civil
Code:

http://law.justia.com/california/codes/2009/civ/654-663.html

"The ownership of a thing is the right of one or more persons to possess
and use it to the exclusion of others. In this Code, the thing of which
there may be ownership is called property."

and undermined first sale which enables MARKET of used copies.

MARKET is a cornerstone of capitalism.

Pinko commies do not like markets. To wit:

http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html

-----
“Market”

It is misleading to describe the users of free software, or the software
users in general, as a “market.”

See the light now, silly?

alexander.

(GNG is a derecursive recursive derecursion which pwns GNU since it can
be infinitely looped as GNGNGNGNG...NGNGNG... and can be said backwards
too, whereas GNU cannot.)
