                            An Introduction to Easy
                       iptables Management with Shorewall

Shorewall is a gateway/firewall configuration tool for GNU/Linux. This
talk will cover the basics of getting and installing Shorewall along with
some of the more straightforward and common configurations (e.g., using
Shorewall on a gateway system to provide firewalling services between your
LAN and the Internet). The emphasis is on the easy nature of Shorewall
configuration and how Shorewall assists the administrator. A very brief
overview will also be provided of some Shorewall's more advanced features.
