Hi,
my name is Michele Franceschini (from Italy).
I've got a SuSE 7.0 distribution and i wanted to learn write music with
lilypond and contribute to the mutopia project so last week i downloaded the
latest version of lilypond and i tried to make and install all. Finally i
menaged getting the executables and i ran them with the command
ly2dvi standchen.ly

here's the output

address@hidden:~/lily/prove > ly2dvi standchen.ly
ly2dvi (GNU LilyPond) 1.3.99
executing: lilypond standchen.ly 2>&1
GNU LilyPond 1.3.99.
Now processing: `standchen.ly'
Parsing...ERROR: In expression (set! point-and-click line-column-location):
ERROR: Unbound variable: point-and-click
ly2dvi: LilyPond failed: lilypond standchen.ly 2>&1

Then i commented with a % the guilty line #(set! point-and-click
line-column-location)
and reran all:
******************************************************

TeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 3.14159
kpathsea version 3.3.1

Many thanks.

P.S. About the export filter for ETF i think it is important to give to the
people the more
freedom possible to begin and stop using the GNU software and inport/export
filters maybe give
peace and security.
