Red Hat 7.1's xdvi is broken.

There appears to be a problem with the Xdvi shipped with Red Hat
7.1. Symptoms: Xdvi responds very sluggishly or hangs while viewing
lilypond output. The cause for this problem is unknown; you are
advised to recompile Xdvi from source.
