The following commands clearly show the problem (see the last line of the
output of 'astfits': the two numbers don't have any space character between
them!)


$ wget -O cube.fits.gz
http://data.sdss.org/sas/dr17/manga/spectro/redux/v3_1_1/7443/stack/manga-7443-12703-LOGCUBE.fits.gz

$ astfits cube.fits.gz --skycoverage
Input file: cube.fits.gz (hdu: 1)
