Todd,

At least for geas, supply chain, and accounting we are not even using 
IRC as Reinhard and I have had other priorities.  Our (Reinhard and 
myself) policy has always been to to copy any relevant discussions to 
email lists.  But we have not had any in the last few months.

This Kernel Cousins effort would eliminate our extra work and I agree 
its an excellent idea.
