geas problem

hi everybody,

i just installed a geas server on a linux box.
when i try to launch it all i get is this:

Trying to open config file '/usr/local/etc/geas.conf'
Loading aliases from file 'geas-alias.cfg'
error: Failed to connect to MySQL database test_mysql.

** ERROR **: file compare.c: line 496 (compare_classes_to_database):
assertion failed: (database != NULL)
aborting...
Aborted


any hint to help me would be really appreciated
