I'm checking out it right now, but I'm afraid this won't be the issue,
don't believe nobody else has made table imports with the regular
release. I had the problem with 0.5.3 too, and I also have a problem
with page imports in gnue-forms, along with other issues (I can't give a
value to /form/@name,...) also coming from 0.5.3 that don't seem
likely to be general, but related with my system.

May be I'm using python 2.1. I'm in doubt if either upgrading to sarge,
for python 2.3, or trying to hack the problem.
