Did you use GNU Go 3.2?

I ask because yesterday you posted a link for GNU Go and it was
to GNU Go 2.6, which is two years old and some 5 stones weaker
than GNU Go 3.2.

I got curious and tried WinHonte. I was impressed, it plays a
pretty good game. It is hard to tell how strong it is at life
and death but it seems to have a well-tuned engine.

GNU Go won this game by 36.5 points. GNU Go made some serious
errors, the worst moves by GNU Go in my opinion being at
moves 40, 50, 88 and 102. On the other hand WinHonte allowed
W to consolidate a big territory and further lost ground in
the endgame.

GNU Go's real strength is at life and death and WinHonte
largely avoided squabbles except from a position of strength.
I'd guess that GNU Go is stronger but we'd need a few more
games to make any definitive statement. I only played one
game.

Nick, if you kept your games could you post them, and confirm
which version of GNU Go you used?
