This is a question about Sente Software's Goban, not GNU Go.

Most of us are not using Macs so you need to ask them for help.
They have a mailing list at:

https://kgwgk.sente.ch/Lists/goban-users/List.html

GNU Go is at release 3.3.6. When you write to them mention which
version of GNU Go you are using with Goban. Feel free to copy
your query to address@hidden since we are interested in
knowing if (for example) post-3.2 changes in the GTP broke something.

Goban is a Mac OS X frontend for Gnugo, but the Gnugo people have no
official connection with it. So you should address your query to the Goban
author.
