the broken state of tree pattern matcher is entirely my fault.
as usually, i forgot to check whether it can be built normally.

since i cannot see the patch, here is what to do with `name'
parameters (unless you've fixed it already): remove all
`name' parameters and replace all instances of it with
`prefix', which is a new global variable with the same
meaning as `name' had.
