2006/6/16, Adam Paster <address@hidden>:
GnuGo responds with PASS when run with the following command line
gnugo -l 211985.sgf

Is this a good/expected/desirable response?

I'd play G7 myself, but --trace shows a reasonable thinking. Move
generator generates B7/C6/D7, decides them unsafe, generates F1/G2,
decides them unsafe, and then generate J5 (connecting atari). And it
discovers a combination attack following J5, and pass.

By the time, GNU Go is already screwed up anyway.
