Oh, I think I can divine where this is coming from. Did you

a) point at the properly-23-mmol-resulted cell initially and have
   the tooltip appear
b) then moved the mouse pointer off of any cells but still within
   the grid
c) have the tooltip disappear during movement
d) only to have it re-appear *with the last-pointed-to cell*
   being tooltipped although not anymore visually pointing to it ?
