[Gnumed-bugs] Medications plugin list grid disappears if plugin active while switching patients

This is a consistent problem for me:

Activate patient 1.
Display medications plugin.
Switch to patient 2.
See a flash of the medications, however after a very brief moment the 
post-activation plugin (in my case Overview) comes into the foreground.
Click the Medications plugin.
See white space -- the medication grid is gone.

Switch to patient 3.
Same thing happens.
Now ensure that some plugin other than Medications is active.

Switch to patient 4.
Post-activation, GUI switches to Overview.
Set focus to Medications plugin - all is well.
Set focus to any plugin *other* than Medications.

Switch back to patient 2.
Post-activation, GUI switches to Overview.
Set focus to Medications plugin - it's fixed.
Set focus to any plugin *other* than Medications.

Switch back to patient 3.
Post-activation, GUI switches to Overview.
Set focus to Medications plugin - it's fixed.

Maybe relates to what was previously seen (on Windows) in the Notes plugin. See
