Given the fact that the current code runs on several Linux
distributions (I am sure of SuSE, quite sure of Debian, maybe
Mandrake), Windows (parts, anyways), and Mac (we have
screenshots) we should be in pretty good shape not having to
worry too much about this currently.

Maybe people can drop us a line what OS they are trying to run
GNUmed on:

Karsten - SuSE
Ian     - Debian ?
David   - Windows (...?)
...

This is what Andreas is working on.

Another approach that Ian had in mind was to take something
like DemoLinux or Knoppix, put GNUmed on it and produce a
custom ISO image. AFAIK the Knoppix author expressed some
interest.
