That config file is just a starting point for our Debian
packager to work from. It isn't really intended to be usable.
If you want to setup your own database try using

redo-public.sh

or talk to Andreas, he has got some preliminary debs.

Which account are you using ?

The login to the database itself will go through just fine but
the PG account is not set up as a staff member in GnuMed. Try
using test-doc or any-doc (password the same as the user
name).
