Had nothing to do with hherb.com (of which you can get the IP by simply
pinging the domain).

Our mailing lists is operated by gnu.org on their servers. They apparently do
reverse domain lookup of the sender address for spam filetering etc., and I
didn't know they did that.

Since I was travelling most of the ytime of the past 4 weeks, I used my laptop
for emailing, and sendmail for SMTP - obviously I haven't got a static IP
address on my laptop and my "sender domain" will not resolve to my laptops
address, hence the mailing list swallowed my mails without giving any error
messages.

I now relay all messages via my gnumed.net SMTP server, and that appears to
work.

Horst
