Hi !
finals and vacation are history now. Firing Gnumed up after a break of two
weeks I was surprised to see that Gnumed actually starts to become useful.
Gearing towards an initial release I started to file bugs with
savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnumed.
Most of them are trivial but I feel it serves two purposes. It shows
activities plus introduces people to the bug tracking system which will
hopefully be used actively in the future.
The projects admins need to assign these bugs to the respective maintainer
including me. A thought crossed my mind. It may be useful to have a script
which parses the CVS for the maintainer of a file. IOW look for the string
$Author: Jane Doe $ in a *.py file. Maybe report/log to file if missing so it
can be added. Good way to learn python. No Gnumed involved whatsoever. Can be
reused by other projects as well.
Any takers ?
