if text can be semi-automatically broken up into groups ( e.g. groups of
S items, groups of O items)
then using a keyboard shortcut or a mouse gesture can be used to link
items e.g.
- items get separated by newline or semi-colon
- ctrl-space over an item brings up a indent structured listbox which
can be selected using
the arrow keys, indent items being health issues on the first level,
and "new episode for this encounter", "last episode on dd/mm/yyyy"
on the second level under each health issue; these could be numbered,
and pressing a number could jump
to that context menu item, hitting enter over that item, links the soap
item to the episode ( either new or last) of that health issue.
I'm assuming you can't link any episodes before the last episode of a
particular health issue, because
starting a new episode marks the definite end of the last episode.
maybe have a merge episode option on the tree browser , e.g. by dragging
one episode onto another,
(the tree browser shows >1 views of the same data:
health issue -> episode -> encounter -> soap items relevant to episode ;
encounter-> all s o a p items as entered for encounter ;
encounter(ordered by h i) -> (1..*) ordered episode/health issue
labels-> s o a p items,
