Not at all that I can see. Of course, since the schema is
open source (of what license ?) that can be worked around.
Which is, however, made a lot harder by everyone having to
define their own medical record instance. Eg. there's not
really any way you can know which data is stored where unless
you look at a site's locally defined data input/output
templates.
Templating is nice. But it can be overstretched.
I mean, it isn't fair to bundle Apache and the Smarty PHP
templating engine, call it "WebMed" and sell it as a medical
record, right ?
