Thanks - a pointer for the
Wiki.
Is psycopg a package that is needed on the server side, but not
by the client?
If that is correct, should it go on the page
http://salaam.homeunix.com/twiki/bin/view/Gnumed/InstallerGuideHome
somewhere in the section:
Backend Installation
* an introduction to the GNUmed
backend
* how to configure PostgreSQL for
hosting a GNUmed backend
o on Linux
o on Microsoft Windows?
o on a Macintosh?
* how to install the GNUmed
database into PostgreSQL
Or does it better belong in the "introduction to the GNUmed
backend" which is where the Database setup is discussed? For on
*that* page which is
http://salaam.homeunix.com/twiki/bin/view/Gnumed/GnumedDatabase
there exist links to
- "Database on GNU/Linux" and
- " Database on Microsoft Windows" - should it go
there, as a snippet of information, awaiting someone familiar with
PostgreSQL under Windows to write the guide?
