This is the bug we are talking about.

Since the January 2012 report claims that it runs fine in
Debian/Testing w/ 3.4.4 someone should test it.

If it does than GNUmed will magically work again w/o doing
anything.

However, this does not solve the conceptual problem of
lists/tables - no one is likely to rewrite odt table/list
creation and attempt to splice them into an existing OOo
document.
