I agree with Sebastian that an entry like

needs somehow to be
1) accompanied by the possibility to activate an .estimated flag, which means a
new column, which means it must await the next version of the db, no?
2) if possible, causes the .estimated flag to be auto-set (however I am not
sure if this can be detected from mere input into the dob field).
I also agree there should be no "second" storage field of an alternate date of
birth, just the proper date of birth and an "estimated" column.
Therefore what would seem easiest is to
- use the existing ability to enter a (relative) date like -69y in the dob field
- manually check-box an .estimated field
Karsten would need to add the corresponding column into the next db, the field
would need to be added to wx, the date of birth (and associated placeholders,
as Karsten already posted) would need to corresponding coding.
