[Gnumed-devel] Preparation type (e.g. tablet) is being displayed in Medications plug-in in column "Brand" |

Hi,
I just realized, through observation, that
- when a branded substance has been added to a patient's medication list, the
type of preparation is concatenated onto the end of the "Branded" name, however
- when a non-branded substance is added, the preparation appears on its own,
under the column "Brand" which is a bit confusing
I notice this is handled slightly differently when one chooses to Sort by: Brand
- in the case of multi-substance Brands, the first row lists the
product fully (e.g. Multi12 injection liquid) and the 2nd … nth are blank (I am
fine with this approach; the alternative is to fill with _ibid_ or a quote or a
down-and-right arrow)
- in the case of unbranded substances, the item is listed in parens
(tablet)
My two suggestions when sorting by Health Issue or Episode
1. let the column display for Brand also reflect the above approach (parens
around unbranded substance "preparation")
2. let the label Brand be instead
Brand (preparation)
