Could you please in cases like this make some noise on some Debian
channel (either CC the mailing list, open a bug report for instance,
commit a changelog entry to packaging SVN)?

I do not read the GNUmed list with high priority and so this might lead
to some delay with the Debian packaging which could be avoided
otherwise.  Packages are uploaded now but could have been way earlier.
