Looks OK to me too ...
I added a testcase to the testsuite and ran it on OSX to see whether Apple's 
implementation of NSSelectorFromString() registers a new selector if given a 
name for a selector which doesn't exist.
It does create a new selector, so the patch would change behavior improving OSX 
compatibility.
