REMINDER: Please Change Your EarthLink Mail and FTP Settings - gnustep.org

Dear EarthLink Subscriber,

In order to improve the quality of your service, EarthLink
has installed new POP mail and FTP servers for our Web
Hosting customers. To make sure your service continues
uninterrupted during the upgrade, please change the settings
on your mail and FTP programs prior to December 3, 2001.

Here's how to do it:

For POP Mail retrieval from your Hosting account (for any pop
mailboxes at gnustep.org), please change your settings to:

ServerName: pop.business.earthlink.net
UserName: YourMailboxName%gnustep.org

Note: please replace "YourMailboxName" with the name of the pop
mailbox you want to check.  If you are currently forwarding email at
gnustep.org to a dialup or fast access email account, rather than using a
pop mailbox, no changes are required.

For FTP access for gnustep.org, please change your settings to:

ServerName: ftp.business.earthlink.net
Username for normal FTP access: wfp56478%gnustep.org
Username for FTP dropboxes: FTPDropboxName%gnustep.org

Note: please replace "FTPDropboxName" with the same FTP
dropbox name you use now.

If you are using anonymous FTP access or Microsoft FrontPage, no
changes are required.  Your current Web and FTP passwords will remain
the same.
