Sorry I couldn't get to this sooner, its been a busy month.

Since this is a fairly large patch, it would make my life easier if you
would use the --interdiff or --range-diff, which ever is easier for
you. This way I can just re-review the changes to each patch update.

Use grub_max().

Ah, now I see, we do need a "+ 1" here for the case where alloc_size is
not a multiple of len. In that case, there will be a round for the
partial len, but "alloc_size / len" rounds down and so does not account
for the partial len round. There should be a comment above this line
explaining what's going on here. Perhaps something like "Allocate
buffer for password and an added prefix character for each hash round".
There should be no need to wrap this comment line if it is not longer
than 90 characters.

I believe the data to hash from p is of length "password_size + round".

Shouldn't we just copy key_size bytes? Sure, after that there might be
password data, but the caller should only be reading key_size bytes
from key_data, right?
