I don't know.
I just remember that some people worked on the video plugins, and they are using
3rd-party programs. I don't know how they work.

I don't know. Moreover, this is a hardware issue, and I tkink that the software
implementation is OS specific.
The problem is not to do it, but how to do it :)

Yes for a 2nd source, but what if somebody asks for a 3rd source?
No, we have to make some big changes to have a clean code (remember: cleaner 
code means
fewer bugs:)
