Hi!

Latest vestion is 1.0.4. I don't think this will solve the problem, but just in 
case...

Do you have a file called "core" or "core.xxxx" (where xxxx are numbers) ?
If yes, don't send it to me, I cannot do anything with it, but get the data 
from it with
gdb:

gdb gtktalog --core=core (or gdb gtktalog --core=core.xxxxx)
bt
exit

Just send me what was said.
If you compile gtktalog yourself, check that the -g option is provided to the 
compiler:

export CFLAGS='-g' (or setenv CFLAGS '-g' if you are using csh or tcsh)
./configure --your-options-here
make
make install

If you know how to use strace, this can also give some clues:
strace gtktalog


Without such information, I cannot do anything.

Besides this, I'm going on vacation, so I will not be able to answer before 2 
or 3
weeks. Maybe I will not be able to answer before Christmas of New Year day. 
Just be
patient, and ask again in January if I forgot the bug.
