if I'm allowed to make an observation.
I'm aware of two active lispy language commutinies: the Common Lisp
community and the Scheme community.
Guile is not a Common Lisp implementation, so "we" (GNU? who does
this "GNU" you mention consist of?) are obviously out.
if you propose to make Guile incompatible with Scheme, then "we" are
out of _that_ community, too. I do understand your style preferences
(I also like Common Lisp very much), but I fail to see the benefit in
being incompatible with Scheme. what is the benefit(s) that you see?
why are you confident that this "GNU" community has any chance of
getting a sizeable mindshare in the "market" if it rolls its own
language?
