Attached is an Emacs Lisp file that implements tab-completion for Guile running as inferior scheme.
To use it: 1. mkdir ~/emacs 2. cp guile-completion.el ~/emacs 3. Put the following lines in your ~/.emacs file
(add-to-list 'load-path "~/emacs") (load "guile-completion.el") (add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist (cons (cons "\\.scm$" 'scheme-mode))) 4. In emacs, type M-x guile .
Try out the completion by going to the guile> prompt and typing something such as "(def" (without the quotes) and then hitting the Tab key to see all the valid identifiers such as "define" that
begin with "def".
