I'll bite.

M-x run-scheme

runs a scheme process in a buffer, but it wants the interpreter to be
called scheme.

C-u M-x run-scheme

lets you specify the command line (e.g. guile, or whatever your
libguile app is called).  From thence forth, you can use scheme-mode
commands to send stuff to the guile process.
