Thanks for all the info, particularly regarding the internationalisation
stuff. I've been looking through the Gnucash code and trying to understand
it.

One thing I didn't understand was gnucash's use of namespaces. There seem
to be at least two in use: gnc and gnucash. Do these differentiate low-
and high-level code or something?

Another thing I didn't understand were the sfri's - what are they,
compatibility layers?
