what is the name of this format? where can i find its specification?
i'm thinking of turning the guile projects entry protocol inside out by
allowing project maintainers to simply post some such metadata on a web
page somewhere and have a guile projects spider periodically (say, once
a day) check for updates -- i.e., poll instead of be interrupt-driven.
obviously, the alist format is easy to parse, but i think the spider
should be able to accomodate other common formats, too (even xml, spit
spit ;-).
btw, the serveez logo rules!
