Gimple never got to a usable state. Scott Goehring started it and soon
passed it on to me, I hacked on it for a while and then abandoned it for
what seemed to be a lack of general interest in it.

Nowadays I'm not very involved with either gimp or guile (I've turned to PLT
for my scheming needs). But if anyone wants to revive gimple, I'll offer
what assistance I can.
