Where to start.

Hello All,

Its ma day first playing GUILE, as per ma teacher instructions, 
I am feeling good accept one thing.

The manuals on  http://www.gnu.org/software/guile/docs/docs.html
are not that much basic level as I am. or I might be of very basic
level programmer :)
most of the text assume that reader is with good background of C
language which I d'nt. :'(

Is there any tutorial/manual which start from very basic to expert
level, without assuming that reader know's any programming language
previously.
