make check test failures v2.0.1 - Darwin OS X 10.6.7

The intent is to build guile in order to test (make check) a gcc build.  It's 
one of the dependencies.

After running guile 2.0.1 make check a number of unexpected errors occurred.   
Are these considered normal?
