directory for small utilities

Most small utilities (e.g., pretty-print) in guile are in the directory ice-9.  
What about contributed utilities?   Is there a standard directory to provide 
for those?

I can think of the json module recently posted.  I have one, “struct”, like the 
python module, that is currently under “potluck”.

Other possiblities: contrib, util, ...
