Since /sbin/resolvconf is a shell script, how about, instead of wrapping
it, inserting with ‘substitute*’ something like:

  PATH=/gnu/store/…-coreutils/bin:$PATH

somewhere at the top?

That would be more lightweight.

(We could also use ‘coreutils-minimal’ here.)
