For general purpose references to this aspect of my work please cite
http://www.albany.edu/~hammond/gellmu/.   There is no point in looking
at the tarball if you don't know what it's about.  And the other cite
is for a very specific sideline that probably has no bearing at all on
a bison-related discussion.
