reading input from file

hi ppl

i am trying to read input from a text file using lex. the lex manual says that 
it can be done in the main function of lex but since i am using bison and lex 
together it makes two "main" functions whic generates an error when compiling 
both the files together. where should i assign "yyin" the input file pointer.
