If it is from a previous production, then send a feed back from bison to
your lexer to fabricate a token which will cause your parser to take the
state corresponding to the flag (alternate productions). This would be a
little tricky, esp w.r.t. modifying the parser for this. But will work.

No that ain't possible because bison generated code is fixed for a set of
productions
