line breaks allowed

Anyone know if line breaks (\) are allowed in .cf files...I just can't
get used to the constant line wraps in .cf files...ad nauseam.

Example:

copy:
   linux.fl.!admin::
      $(cflocal)/etc/ntp/client/ntp.conf.fl \
      owner=0 group=0 mode=644 server=$(cfserver) \
      action=fix dest=/etc/ntp.conf define=ntpModified

      $(cflocal)/etc/ntp/client/step-tickers.fl  \
      owner=0 group=0 mode=644 server=$(cfserver) \
      action=fix dest=/etc/ntp/step-tickers define=ntpModified
