cfengine-2.0.4 required filesystem returns invalid byte count

rturns the following error:

cfengine:b80n10: File system /scratch is suspiciously small! (0 bytes)
cfengine:b80n10: The file /scratch does not exist or is suspicious.


The filesystem is mounted correctly:
/dev/lv02       35061760  34509184    2%       17     1% /scratch





Any help, idea what causes the wrong byte count in cfengine?
