Iterators in directories

I'm trying to do something like this:

control:

        MyList = ( dir1:dir2:dir3:dir4:dir5 )

directories:

        /somewhere/$(MyList)/app        m=700 o=root g=root
        /somewhere/$(MyList)/log        m=700 o=root g=root


The iterator doesn't work here.

I can fall back to using shellcommands, but thats a hack! ;]

Any suggestions?
