Compiling cfengine on AIX 5.1

I've downloaded cfengine 2.1.10, as well as the gcc, db and bison
packages from
<http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/aix/products/aixos/linux/download.html>,
and have built OpenSSL from source.  I'm trying to build cfengine, and
get this output from make:

        make  all-am
        /bin/sh ../ylwrap cfparse.y y.tab.c cfparse.c y.tab.h cfparse.h
        y.output cfparse.output -- yacc  -d
got /home/ruhl/cfengine-2\.1\.10/src/
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.

Anyone have any ideas?
